Emrys Murphy is an Orlando based game designer with a focus in UI Design and Environmental Art. Emrys has worked with a variety of different mediums including 2D digital art, 3D modeling, and graphic design. They have a passion for creating interesting and unique works.

Emrys is currently pursuing their Master's degree of Digital Media at the University of Central Florida. They focus their topics on the lives of queer folks.

Emrys graduated from the University of Central Florida with their undergraduate BA in Studio Art and their BA is Game Design in 2023. During their undergraduate program, they were the Creative Director of a game titled Year 500, now live on Steam. They were also the 2D environmental artist for a game titled Darling Dash, now on Itch.io.

University of Central Florida
Whilst in the Digital Media BA at the University of Central Florida, Emrys learned about the game design process and technical skills needed to make an interesting and dynamic game. They mastered programs like Unity, Unreal, Maya, and Adobe. They have published two games and gained an immense amount of knowledge of the industry.

During their time at the pursing a Studio Art BA at the University of Central Florida, Emrys was able to work with a variety of mediums including screen printing, digital media, sculpture, ceramics, and figure drawing. They gathered a diverse set of skills that included technical proficiency of foundational art, the ability to visually communicate ideas, art history, and creative problem solving.
